In preparation for ARIN’s call for nominations on Monday, 17 July 2017, ARIN needs your input regarding this year’s nominee questionnaires.

Each October, ARIN’s Membership elect individuals to the ARIN Board of Trustees and Advisory Council (AC), and two out of three years one ARIN representative to the Number Resource Organization Number Council (NRO NC). This year the NRO NC representative will be appointed by the Board of Trustees. To run, a nominee must submit an online questionnaire to provide detailed information about their relevant experience and positions on key community issues.

Candidate responses to this questionnaire will be published online along with their bio when the slate of candidates is announced on 30 August, and they will also be included in the 2017 Voter Guide that is mailed to all eligible voters.

If you have questions that are relevant to policy issues or challenges facing ARIN that you’d like candidates to answer, please send your questions to members@arin.net for the Nomination Committee’s (NomCom) consideration no later than 31 May 2017. Please be sure to mark whether your question is directed to candidates for the Board of Trustees, AC, or NRO NC, or any combination of the three. The NomCom will review all submissions and then determine a final list and phrasing of all candidate questions.
