The polls for the election to fill two (2) seats on the ARIN Board of Trustees and five (5) seats on ARIN Advisory Council open today at 09:00 ET. The polls close at 09:00 EST, November 1.

A brief biography and a link to submit or view statements of support for each candidate are posted on ARIN’s website at:

http://www.arin.net/elections/candidates.html

You must be the designated member representative (DMR) from a General Member in good standing to vote. To cast your vote, visit:

http://www.arin.net/elections/votingbooth.html

The online election is a two-step process.

Step 1. The DMR votes via the online voting booth.

Step 2. The DMR confirms the vote via confirmation email, which is sent to the DMR’s email address as registered with ARIN. Once a vote is confirmed, ARIN will validate the vote by determining that the voting organization is a General Member in good standing. Only confirmed and validated votes will be counted. For more information about membership status, please see:

http://www.arin.net/elections/electionguidelines.html#gmigs

Designated member representatives must cast their ballots before 09:00 ET, November 1. All votes must be confirmed by 12:00 EST, November 1.

Elections are an important way for members to participate in ARIN’s operations and to help shape the course of IP addressing, so don’t put off this important activity until the last minute. Vote now!

If you have any questions concerning voting or encounter problems with the system, please contact info@arin.net. Contact billing@arin.net if you have any questions about your organization’s billing status.
