The following policy proposals have been adopted in the ARIN region and take effect today, December 16, 2004:

Policy Proposal 2003-4: IPv6 Policy Changes

Policy Proposal 2002-2: Experimental Internet Resource Allocations

As part of the implementation of these policies, the ARIN Number Resource Policy Manual (NRPM), version 2004.2, is effective as of today, December 16, 2004. This version supersedes all previous versions. See Appendix A of the NRPM for detailed information regarding changes to the manual.

In addition, for the implementation of Policy Proposal 2002-2, the ARIN Fee Schedule has been updated with an Experimental Allocations section and a new Experimental Allocation template has been created.
