The Number Resource Organization (NRO) has released two documents regarding AFRINIC’s transition to become the fifth Regional Internet Registry.
The first document is an announcement explaining that AFRINIC has entered Phase 2 of the transition plan and is now operating as a fully functional RIR.
The second document is a status report to the ICANN Board of Directors outlining the major transition activities since July 2004.
