ARIN is pleased to announce that ARIN Online users can now create API Keys when logged in to their account. An Application Programming Interface Key, or API Key, is a secret code that can be used to identify customers to ARIN Online for securing alternate transactions outside of the regular ARIN Online password framework. At this time, authorized Bulk Whois users can automate the download of the bulk data by using a RESTful HTTP request containing their API Key. In future releases, API Keys will play a major role in securing your template requests.
