On 19 December 2016, the Board of Trustees adopted the following Recommended Draft Policies:
ARIN-2015-2: Modify 8.4 (Inter-RIR Transfers to Specified Recipients)
ARIN-2016-1: Reserved Pool Transfer Policy
ARIN-2016-2: Change timeframes for IPv4 requests to 24 months
ARIN-2016-4: Transfers for new entrants
ARIN-2016-5: Post-IPv4-Free-Pool-Depletion Transfer Policy
ARIN-2016-6: Eliminate HD-Ratio from NRPM
All aforementioned policies are now in effect, with the exception of ARIN-2016-2. This policy will be implemented no later than 19 June 2017 in accordance with its Staff and Legal Review, which rated the policy’s resource impact as moderate.
A new version of the ARIN Number Resource Policy Manual (NRPM) has been published to the ARIN website.
NRPM version 2017.1 is effective 21 February 2017 and supersedes the previous version.
