Applications are now being accepted for ARIN’s Fellowship Program to attend ARIN 40 in San Jose, California from 5-6 October. The application period will remain open through 5:00 PM EDT on Wednesday, 12 July 2017.
The ARIN Fellowship Program gives up to 15 individuals the opportunity to attend ARIN Public Policy and Members Meetings at no charge, and also offers hotel accommodations at the meeting venue, round-trip economy class airfare, and a small stipend to assist with travel incidentals and meals.
This year, we are excited to announce that the domicile requirements have been removed and the ARIN Fellowship Program is now open to all individuals, including past ARIN Fellows, interested in Internet number resource policy in the ARIN region. Applicants no longer have to be domiciled in the ARIN service region, however, the Charter for the Fellowship Selection Committee states that if a qualified applicant pool permits, three to five fellows will be selected from each sector of the ARIN region: Canada, the Caribbean and North Atlantic Islands, and the United States and Outlying Areas.

Selected fellows are also paired with a mentor for an enhanced meeting experience. Mentors include ARIN Advisory Council members, seasoned community members, and ARIN staff.

ARIN 40 Fellowships may be extended to include registration and hotel accommodations for NANOG 71, which will be held 2-4 October, directly adjacent to ARIN’s meeting.

Past fellows are eligible to reapply and are strongly encouraged to do so. To be considered, a new application is required.
