Opening and Announcements
Presenter: John Curran, ARIN President and CEO
John Curran opened the meeting by welcoming those in attendance and thanked Telus for sponsoring network connectivity for ARIN XXIX. He then invited Matt Wilder from Telus to speak briefly. Matt remarked that nearly ten percent of the network activity from ARIN XXIX was IPv6 traffic. After Matt’s presentation, John continued by requesting that attendees complete and return the meeting survey. John reminded attendees of the rules and courtesies to be followed during the meeting, and introduced those seated at the head table.

- Request for ARIN to take a larger role in the Internet governance world and convey its position widely
Closing Announcements and Meeting Adjournment

John Curran made closing announcements and thanked all of the meeting attendees, the members of ARIN and members of the community for participating. He again thanked Telus for sponsoring the network and CIRA for sponsoring the Monday night social. John concluded by adding that ARIN hoped to see everyone at ARIN XXX in Dallas (24-26 October 2012).
