Tutorial: Create ROAs Today and Secure your Resources with ARIN’s RPKI Services
Tuesday, 22 October, 11:00 AM ET, Harbour A+B
Presented by: Brad Gorman, ARIN Senior Product Owner, Routing Security

Are you responsible for implementing secure routing in your organization? Do you need to understand the best practices and emerging trends around Resource Public Key Infrastructure (RPKI)? If so, this ROAthon tutorial at NANOG is a must-attend event. Led by Brad Gorman, ARIN’s Senior Product Owner of Routing Security, this event combines a presentation with hands-on participation and on-site support. You’ll gain a clear understanding of RPKI, its purpose, key components, and ARIN’s services and interface. You’ll receive guidance on creating your own Route Origin Authorizations (ROAs) and the importance of Route Origin Validation (ROV). This will empower you to implement security measures that protect your routing infrastructure and Internet number resources from threats due to BGP hijacks and route leaks that can result in network disruption, data theft, and commercial loss.

Target audience: Individuals who have the responsibility of networking in their organization and have an ARIN web user account linked to the organization as the Admin, Tech, or Routing Point of Contact (POC). Must have IPv4 and IPv6 number resources directly assigned to the organization and covered by an ARIN Service Agreement. Must bring your laptop to fully benefit from the tutorial.
