This Consultation is in response to Suggestion Number 2011.31: Publish List of 8.3 Transfers

ARIN is seeking community input regarding whether ARIN should maintain and publish a list of all prefixes transferred under section 8.3 of the NRPM. Please refer to the Number Resource Policy Manual for more information on that policy at https://www.arin.net/participate/policy/nrpm/#8-3-transfers-between-specified-recipients-within-the-arin-region.

This suggestion asks that ARIN maintain and publish a list of all prefixes transferred under section 8.3. The list should identify the original prefix (the block originally held by the transferor) and each subdivided prefix (each partial block derived from that original block) transferred under this policy, and should include the date each prefix was transferred. Additionally, this suggestion has asked that as soon as possible following implementation, ARIN include in this list, all prefixes which have been previously transferred under section 8.3 to date.

ARIN would like to feedback regarding the value of providing this informational service to the community as there has been related discussion regarding this topic on mailing lists. ARIN seeks clear direction through community input.

As a result of input received during the recent ACSP Consultation: Publication of Transferred Prefixes, ARIN will begin to publish a monthly list of all prefixes transferred under section 8.3 of the Number Resource Policy Manual (NRPM). This list can be found at:

https://www.arin.net/knowledge/statistics/transfers_8_3.html  

The list will be updated on a monthly basis along with the other registration statistics published on the ARIN website. ARIN would like to thank the community for their feedback on this consultation.
