ACSP Suggestion 2007.17: Track Meeting Action Items and Provide Follow Up Reports
Suggestion
Author: Ed Lewis
Submitted On: 24 April 2007
Description: I would like ARIN to track action items during the public policy and member meetings, including items gathered at open mics, and submit the list for review within one month of the meeting and then report on results of the action items at the next meeting. E.g., at ARIN XVIII the community indicated that staff ought to do some work on IRIS. At ARIN XIX, this work was not reported (until a question was posed). The same for the publishing of SLA’s - promised to be a regular event around ARIN XVI, a comment at ARIN XVIII again, but nothing at ARIN XIX.
Timeframe: Next ARIN Meeting, 6-months

Actions come to ARIN through a variety of channels such as ARIN meetings, outreach efforts, and other venues. ARIN staff are currently exploring better ways to capture and report actions.
