ACSP Suggestion 2015.16: Order of STLS Facilitator Listing

Description: List brokers on the facilitator page of the website in order of the oldest to newest broker. This follows the lead of APNIC, who lists brokers in order while not providing date of broker agreement. Otherwise, if you alphabetize like RIPE does, provide information about the date when brokers became recognized, or the number of consecutive years on the list.

Value to Community: ARIN members who regard the broker list web page are provided with less information than APNIC or RIPE members, who are provided data regarding the length of individual broker experience. Broker experience is one of the topmost qualities sought by those who need brokers, and failing to convey information held by ARIN to its members regarding this is less than optimum. More information = more value to community.

Thank you for your suggestion, numbered 2015.16 upon confirmed receipt. We agree that there is value in providing information about the date that a Transfer Facilitator registered with ARIN’s Specified Transfer Listing Service. To that end, we will continue to list facilitators alphabetically, but we have added a column that displays their registration date.
